But, first we stop by a cigar shop featuring hand-wrapped cigars. We were even shown personally how to hand-wrap cigars by Antonio of Don TuTo Cigar Shop:

There is a 30 minute trail to walk before getting to the first canopy. While walking this trail, we were educated on Mahogany Forest's Rain Forest history and natural habitat:
A Giant 1.5ft Long Walking Stick Insect
Strangler Fig - Strangler figs are parasitic plants that usually begin life as epiphytes growing high up on a host tree. As the fig gradually extends roots down to the ground it grows tightly around the trunk of the host preventing further girth growth.

We had two options for getting down from 75ft above ground...a canopy ride or repel. And you know what I choose:
Me, repelling down...WooHoo!
Pura Vida! WooHoo!
After the Canopy Tour is the 45 minute hike back to the base. Along the way I took a couple of Mahogany Forest's habitants:
A HUGE Tarantula!
Along the trail were dens upon dens of Tarantulas
The Cashew Tree - Each fruit produces one cashew nut.
No wonder they are so expensive!
As we travel back to Grecia, we decide to keep going and head to the Pacific Coast. Especially to see Alligators in the most polluted river in Costa Rica, the Grande de Tárcoles River:
