Days 54 - 58 (Grecia - 5th Week of Spanish School)

Days 54 - 58 - These Spanish Classes are grueling! I'm at the point where I am forgetting the name of objects in English! For example, I was pointing at the school's merchandise talking to a fellow North American and could not for the life of me remember the word, "Polo Shirt". Both of us just finished a 4 hour lesson and couldn't return to English conversation. Another fellow student (who is conversational already in Spanish.) said it is a good characteristic when you forget English words. HA!

Oh! And the constant calling of The "Yigüirro" (Turdus grayi) all around the outside of the house doesn't help when trying to study. Ahhhhh! This bird is so loud! There are a few that like to eat Na Na's dog food and rest on my drying laundry on the clothes line. Better be glad it is Costa Rica's National Bird, therefore is protected from being harmed. HA! Interesting fact I found:The "Yigüirro" sings to claim rain since it generally sings at the beginning of the rainy season and mate during that season:
